SoftwareTranscription service

What is VAMX AI Assistant?

VAMX AI Assistant is an AI transcription service that converts audio and video files into text in 90+ languages, with speaker identification, meeting summaries and transcript polishing.

Which audio / video formats are supported?

Most common formats, including MP4, MOV, MP3, AAC, M4A, AMR, WAV and OGG. You can also paste public links from Douyin, Bilibili, Kuaishou and other platforms to import directly; links must be publicly accessible.

Can I upload large files?

Yes. VAMX AI Assistant is built for large uploads: each file can be up to 10 hours and 5 GB, and multiple files can be processed at once.

Can I export transcripts?

Yes. Transcripts can be downloaded as TXT, PDF, WORD and SRT subtitles, and meeting summaries can be downloaded separately. Batch operations let you process multiple files at once.

Is there a desktop or mobile app?

Yes. The VAMX apps are available for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android. Visit App downloads. You can also use the web workspace directly.

SoftwareAccount & costs

How much does it cost? Can I use it for free?

Yes, you can use it for free. Free forever gives you 300 credits a day, and each transcription uses 30 credits. For more, subscribe to Pro (¥39/month, 3,000 credits a month) or buy credits as needed (¥4.9 / 300 credits, never expire). See Pricing.

How do I sign up and log in?

Click "Log in / Sign up" in the top-right corner to open the VAMX Workspace. Sign up with your phone number or email to access all basic features right away.

Can multiple people share one account?

To keep the service secure and running smoothly, please don't share your login with others. For team use, ask about Teams, which adds shared workspaces and permission management.

SecurityData & privacy

Is VAMX secure?

Yes. Your transcripts, uploaded files and account information are all encrypted, accessible only to you, and can be deleted at any time.

Can enterprises keep data inside their own network?

Yes. Enterprise supports on-premises or private cloud deployment, SSO, audit logs and data residency, so the entire transcription workflow can run inside your own network.

Is it legal to record where I am?

That depends on your jurisdiction; some places require consent from everyone present. Please check local rules before recording. Our hardware and apps can display recording indicators and consent prompts.

HardwareHardware

Does VAMX make its own recording device?

Yes. VAMX Reference One is our card-format AI recorder card (target specs: magnetic, 3 mm, 2 MEMS + 1 bone-conduction microphone, 64 GB storage, 30 hours continuous recording), built by vetted partners in our manufacturing pool. See Hardware.

Will my existing recording device work?

Yes, if the device implements the VAMX protocol. Certified devices are natively supported; community devices work but without a support guarantee. Audio files exported from any device can also be uploaded for transcription.

Is audio recorded on the device uploaded automatically?

No. Recordings are first stored on the device and in your local library, and you decide file by file whether to send them to the cloud for transcription.

PartnershipsODM / OEM

What's the difference between OEM and ODM?

OEM private label uses the proven VAMX reference device with your logo, colors, packaging and app branding, with no new tooling. ODM starts from the product definition and customizes the enclosure, mechanics, electronics, acoustics and firmware for a device that's yours alone.

What are the MOQ and lead time?

It depends on the engagement model, depth of customization and certification needs. OEM has a lower threshold and shorter lead time; ODM is scoped per project.Submit your requirements and we'll give you a firm MOQ, schedule and quote at the proposal stage.

Do custom devices have to use VAMX cloud services?

No. The firmware has no preset third-party cloud endpoints, and the brand decides where data goes. You can use VAMX transcription, a white-label app, on-premises deployment, or connect your own systems through the protocol and SDK.

Can you help with product certification?

Yes. We help you obtain CE, FCC, SRRC, UN38.3 and other certifications required in your target markets.

I run a recording device factory. Can we work together?

Absolutely. We're selecting reference device manufacturing partners and certification partners in Shenzhen and Dongguan. See the requirements of the certification programme .
